So sorry to hear about Billy, I worked in the United Hospital ER in the 70's and I always remember him coming in as a Port Chester Cop. I had a crush on him, I was married and I know he was. We talked and flirted, nothing more but I'll never forget his face with his dimpled smile and so nice always. I used to think about him now and then. I'm so sorry that he's not with us anymore, not that I've seen him in many, many years but I'll never forget his smile or face. RIP William Dutra.

Life is so short, cherish everyday, love with all of your heart. Some are taken from us so unexpectedly. Uncle Bill, thank you for all of the wonderful memories - stories we will be telling for many many years. From driving your boat when I was a little kid (I knew you were holding on to the wheel) to a great 70th birthday party. You ALWAYS made us laugh!!! Rest in Peace Unc! I love you! You will be missed.

I couldn't be sadder to hear the news...he was a great coach...a great father figure and a great friend...His home was always open to me and I loved the many years i spent going in and out of his house...Thank you for your kindness Mr D....You always had a tough exterior but those that were lucky enough to get to know you, knew what a teddy bear you really were..but you did have one hell of a bite too...Wish I could be there for your family... to give a hug and a kind word but the distance keeps me from paying my respects ...but you and your family will be in my thoughts...Love ya buddy ...I'll see ya one day on the other side.
