Jerry and Family:
Danny and I recently retired and moved down to Barnegat, NJ so we're not up on all the PC news. Just read about your mom in the Westmore News. We were so sad to hear that she passed. When your dad passed, we were in NJ otherwise we would have been at his wake. I did speak to your mom after that.
They were such special people. Your dad spent probably a few months at our home in the early 90's remodeling for us. I have pictures of him and my kids. He was like part of our family. My fondest memory of him was when he was building our screen porch. He built the deck and then put a railing around it. I said "Paul, what's with the railing? Why are you putting a rail around it when it's going to be a room?" He said well, since you're having a birthday party tomorrow for your daughter, I don't want any of the kids to fall off the deck. You know, my granddaughter will be at the party too! :) How thoughtful! When the screen porch was finished, your mom and dad had dinner with us. Lots of laughs with your mom! She was so funny.
We used to see them every Sunday at 7:30 mass and were suppose to have breakfast with them but unfortunately that never happened. They hold a special place in our hearts. Again, our sincere sympathy to you and your family.

Kay was an amazing lady. I worked with her for many years at Edison School. She was dedicated to the children . She saved a child from choking during the school day. She will be greatly missed. May your happy memories bring you all comfort at this time.
